Software Projects executed by CIPL in India and abroad:

Although CIPL was formed in India only a few years ago, the professionals involved behind the entire set-up were engaged in Software companies in Middle East. CIPL (and its associates Aquili Information, LLC) is the pioneer in introducing POINT of SALE systems in the Middle East which was designed and developed in-house. This software is currently being sold in association with IBM as bundled with their Point-of-Sale hardware. 80% of the supermarkets and big retail chain across the Middle East has been computerised by us.

We have recently completed a project for Shell-Oil (one of the biggest Petroleum Company worldwide), involving computerisation of convenience stores at 40 petrol pumps in the Sultanate of Oman.

To name a few other projects undertaken by our group companies:

1. Royal Guard of Oman, with front-office and-office system;
2. AI-Fair Super Market in Oman for their five Super market : Front-office and back-office;
3. Duty free shop of Oman : computrisation of the Duty free shops;
4. Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), a Govt. of Oman organisation : computerisation of their clubs, and resturants;
5. The same product has been installed in various retail chains in Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
6. Recently we have completed a project for Sultan Qabuse University, Oman (one of the biggest university of Oman), which includes the following modules -

• Housing system
  
• Project and maintenance system
• Insurance system
• Revenue and billing system

This project is developed using the ORACLE Back-end database, and front-end is developed in Devloper-2000. This entire project was handled independently by CIPL at New Delhi.

Presently, about 4 to 5 software professional are deputed to Oman for the final implementation of the project, and it is its final stages of completion.

Between CIPL and its associates, mini-ERPs been developed and installed all over the Middle East, which is ORACLE-based and promoted by ORACLE Company in the Middle-East. This product has been sold extensively there.

Recently we have signed contract for Motorola-Dubai to develop their Web-enabled Fault-tracking system, which shall be developed under ORACLE for backend and JAVA-based tools for front-end. Project is likely to start by end of March or early April.

Local projects executed by Cybernet India -

1. National Rail Museum (Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India); completed their application software which includes the following modules:

   Main Gate ticketing system

   Souvenir shop

   Library

   Reception module

2. The software was originally developed by a third party which was taken over by Cybernet India and converted into VB6 as front-end and MS-SQL for back-end. The software is operational and under our software AMC since last year.
3. We have signed with National Rail Museum (NRM) for development of their portal which includes selling souvenirs and other items on-line, through web. First portion of the portal has been completed and launched; the e-commerce part will begin by next month.
4. We are the associate partners for C-DOT (one of the biggest Telecom companies of Govt. of India). We executed their web-project two years ago and continue to maintain their multilingual site.
5. Developed a data-based site for Institue of Management and Technology (IMT-Alumini).
   We have extensive experience/professional skills for development of ORACAL-based projects, as-well-as Internet-based/web-enabled technology.
